A Message From The Co-Principals

Gloria Vasquez and Mike Livingston
WELCOME!
To all of our returning students: Welcome back!
To our newest additions on this campus, The Class of 2003, and to all of the
other new students: Welcome to the GHS family. We are glad you have all chosen to
join us for an exciting year at Glendale High School.
Thank you for visiting us at www.nitros.org. We have found this site to be a useful
source of information for students, parents and the community at large. Here you
will find bell schedules, athletic schedules, a list of important dates and phone
numbers, and photos from a variety of student activities and events throughout the
school year, among many other things. You will see that excellence abounds at Glendale
High School.
Glendale is a community that values excellence, academic success, and involvement
in a wide variety of activities and athletics. The most important achievements at
Glendale High School happen in our classrooms. Our extra-curricular activities and
athletic programs provide opportunities for students to organize and plan, to assume
leadership roles, to gain recognition and identity, to experience self-governance,
to grow physically and emotionally, and to mature socially. Our students' accomplishments
as adults will be significantly influenced by their four years as students at Glendale
High. We take our task very seriously, as our students' guides through their four
years. If you are an alumnus of GHS, or a current students' parent, you can be very
proud of GHS' 3,500-member student body, accomplished faculty and staff, and the
support we receive from our community and the Glendale Unified School District.
Sincerely,
Mike Livingston and Gloria Vasquez
